I may have to do invitro fertilization?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 3 and a half years now. His sperm count is fine (we had him tested) so we know the problem is me. I got pregnant once before but miss carried at 4 months. That was 4 years ago. Since then we have not gotten pregnant again, my periods are even more random than before and now we think I may have to do invitro. I don't want to end up pregnant with multiples. Is there anything we can do to increase our chances of conceiving, WITHOUT having to do invitro?
