Can employers do this?

I'm a truck driver who had to go on WSIB bc of a previous work injury. my job fired me bc it took too long to get paperwork from wsib. they said i can take my things out of my truck, that others had been using, if i paid the 100 float. i did and then she said i owed all this other money bc i was under 90 day and had to pay these fees. the truck wasn't in the yard until a few hours so when i returned to empty as per our agreement originially i found that my PSP and digital camera was missing. i had witnesses say they saw her in there taking it out. is she allowed to take my personal belongings if i all of a sudden owe them money for collateral? or is it just plain illegal bc if someone owes me money it's not like im allowed to go in their home and take things for collateral. i understand i owe money but the agreement was the 100 dollar float and to take my things. she has been rude calling me a liar and horrible names bc i couldn't get a letter from wisb yet bc my claim isn't fully processed and my person is on vaca and their fax machine is messed up. what should i do?is it illegal for her to take my things?
