Rent question in NJ?

I have a tenant that haven't paid rent for 2 months now. He is not a bad guy, he is just having financial trouble. Can I just have him sign a piece of paper that he would vacate the properety in 1 week, for non-payment of rent?. Does this paper become legaly binding?Or do I have to go through the courts to get him evicted? I know that he wouldn't fight it, and I am trying to avoid the hle.
