I have a question for anyone who is Jewish - hopefully you can help me out :)?

My boyfriend and his family are Jewish. I do not perscribe to any particular religion but I would not consider myself an atheist. Anyway I was invited to dinner by the family and we had mazzo ball soup. It was soooo good that a week later i am still drooling at the thought. Would his grandmother be offended if I asked for the recipe? Im practly swimming in drool here mmmm
