Getting a job in a coffee shop?

I started drinking coffee at a young age also, and applying for a job at a coffee shop is like applying to work for a supermarket. Working at a coffee shop doesn't require a degree of some kind, so I say go for it. The best thing you can do, is walk in and ask if they are hiring. Starbucks isn't friendly to job applicants at all, I was treated like cattle when I applied to ork for them..I refuse to be seen in a Starbucks. Since they didn't respect me, I won't respect them back. (it's a long story.)
