Advice on being a Car salesman?

My dads a really good car salesman and makes a lot of money,so I talked to him about me doing a part time Job as a car salesman so I could save money for college I'm 16 turning 17 this month I know the workings of a salesman but am I too young? What about pay? And how much can I make in a week? Thxs in advanced
